Redfaire is a fast-growing, international technology company with operations in the UK and Ireland. We implement and manage Oracle ERP (JD Edwards) on Oracle Cloud infrastructure, as well as developing our own IP for cross-selling to the same customer base.

Redfaire provides consulting, managed services, and cloud infrastructure services with a focus on Oracle Cloud to a diverse range of clients and locations.

About the role:

Based within our Professional Services business unit, the Oracle JD Edwards Senior Functional Consultant will be responsible for implementing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne for our global customers. This includes liaising with third-party and internal resources to ensure optimal solutions are delivered.

The candidate should be open to new working methods and eager to learn innovative technologies. This is a full-time, permanent role, which can be home-based in the UK/Ireland or within our Shared Service Centre in Limerick. Candidates in similar time zones will also be considered. The role requires the ability to work both on customer sites and remotely.

Your Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge of JDE modules such as Finance, Manufacturing, Distribution, Service Management, and Project Management is desirable.
• Apply experience with the latest JD Edwards functionalities, including Citizen Developer (UDOs), Orchestrations, etc.
• Take ownership and demonstrate leadership on assignments, with a holistic view of the system and business areas.
• Create functional solutions based on business requirements and communicate these effectively to business users and development teams.
• Provide JD Edwards consulting and solution design expertise in areas like General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets.
• Participate in pre-sales, providing estimates, liaising with the development team, and assessing project scope, assumptions, risks, and potential out-of-scope items.
• Propose standard solutions using recent system features to replace heavily customized processes during upgrades.
• Liaise with support teams and external suppliers to ensure application issues are resolved timely and meet business needs.
• Provide problem management skills, proactively address project issues, and suggest cost-effective solutions.
• Demonstrate senior-level business acumen and manage smaller projects independently.
• Build relationships with support teams and the wider Redfaire group, mentoring junior/associate consultants.
• Develop and deliver end-user training as needed.

Qualifications & Previous Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of Oracle JD Edwards E1 experience in implementation roles across Finance, Distribution, and Manufacturing modules.
• Experience with multiple JD Edwards versions, ideally including EnterpriseOne 9.2.
• Experience with SQL tools and JD Edwards normalization (schemas, tables, etc.) is strongly desirable.
• Experience creating and updating Orchestrations.
• Domain expertise in core finance modules and knowledge of other areas such as Distribution, Manufacturing, and Service Management.
• Experience integrating JD Edwards with government/regulatory entities like EMCS, Electronic Invoicing, and regional systems is desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge of EnterpriseOne debugging and logging is desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge of JD Edwards OneView and BI Interactive is desirable but not essential.
• Familiarity with third-party reporting, form management, or security products is desirable but not essential.
• Proven ability to follow various project methodologies.
• Familiarity with the JD Edwards project lifecycle from planning to support.
• Highly motivated, self-driven, with a hands-on approach to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
