Job summary

Technify Talent Limited is seeking a Senior Software Developer (JavaScript/TypeScript) for a fully remote role in the United Kingdom. The role offers a salary between £75,000 and £85,000 and involves building scalable systems with modern JavaScript tooling.

You will design, implement, and maintain services, APIs, and frontend features while collaborating with product and security teams to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with JavaScript and TypeScript at a senior level.
• Experience with Node.js and building RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with a modern frontend framework such as React, Angular or Vue.
• A good understanding of testing practices and tools (e.g. Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines and agile ways of working.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building and maintaining scalable applications using TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Working across the stack as needed, from APIs and services to user-facing features.
• Collaborating with product, design and security specialists to turn complex problems into clean, usable solutions.
• Writing well-tested, maintainable code and championing good engineering practice.
• Contributing to architectural decisions and the long-term direction of the platform.
• Supporting and mentoring other developers.
