Wise London is seeking an experienced software engineer to join the Continuous Delivery platform team. You will work mainly in Java and Go, extending Spinnaker and building services and integrations around it.
This hands-on role offers influence over the platform's technical direction, from discovery to operation, collaborating with Platform Engineering and other teams to improve reliability, safety and developer productivity across thousands of changes daily.
Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world's money.
Min fees. Max ease. Full speed.
Whether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money.
As part of our team, you will be helping us create an entirely new network for the world's money.
For everyone, everywhere.
More about our mission and what we offer.
Every day, Wise engineers deploy thousands of changes across hundreds of services. The Continuous Delivery team builds the platform that helps them do this safely, without turning delivery controls into a bottleneck.
That challenge is becoming more important as AI-assisted development increases the volume and speed of software changes. We need to maintain strong safety and reliability standards while adapting our delivery platform to code and configuration increasingly produced with AI tools and agents.
You'll join the team responsible for Wise's Continuous Delivery platform. You'll work primarily in Java & Go, extending Spinnaker and building the services and integrations around it.
This is a hands-on engineering role with scope to influence the platform's technical direction. You'll take problems from discovery and design through to implementation and operation, working with teams across Platform Engineering and the wider company.
We're looking for someone who enjoys distributed systems, shared infrastructure, and problems where a seemingly small design decision can affect hundreds of services. You should be comfortable using deployment data, reliability metrics, and engineer feedback to decide where the team should invest.
