Job summary

UST in Nottingham is expanding its Java Development team to build high-quality software that enhances users' lives. You will design and develop features, collaborate with Product Management, and own development on team-owned components.

The role requires strong Java skills, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, REST APIs, and a microservices mindset. You’ll work in a hybrid model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) with AWS/cloud experience and a commitment to best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS / Cloud platforms.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality applications.
• Strong programming skills with Java and OO principles (SOLID, SOA, HTTP, REST).
• Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Experience in building APIs and microservices architecture.
• Collaborative team player with strong communication.
• Commitment to best practices including TDD and BDD.
