Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join the Equities Trading Technology Organization to design and build a market-leading algo execution platform supporting global markets. You will work closely with quants, traders, and technologists to deliver secure, scalable software that enhances strategy performance across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering and Java expertise.
• Proven experience in low-latency, real-time trading systems.
• Experience with high-throughput messaging APIs and middleware.
• Ability to operate within a global NA/EMEA/APAC team.
• Experience with algorithmic trading and systematic trading.
• Background in CS, CE, Mathematics or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop algo trading strategies and execution platform.
• Design and develop simulation environment and automated testing of strategies.
• Enhance existing strategies by analytics and signals.
• Support the desk by analyzing cases to interpret strategy behavior.
• Develop scalable real-time processing solutions using Agile.
• Identify opportunities to automate remediation and improve stability.
