Job Description
Role Type: Hybrid - 2 days a week in Manchester offices
We are hiring for several Senior Java Full Stack Developer roles within a global insurance business that is currently disrupting the industry. The company has strong growth ambitions and is seeking talented individuals to join their team.
Their software development teams are primarily based in Europe, but due to increasing demand for innovative solutions, they are expanding their technical team in Manchester. They seek enthusiastic, confident technical professionals who can deliver quick results while ensuring sustainable, high-quality insurance systems. A positive, proactive attitude and a 'just-do-it' mindset are essential.
You will collaborate daily with business specialists, IT developers, UX designers, and IT operations across six countries.
As a Senior Java Full Stack Developer, your responsibilities will include developing in-house insurance systems focusing on usability, scalability, and maintainability. You will gather and analyze requirements, identify opportunities, and stay updated on new business and technology trends. The role involves mentoring colleagues, influencing technology choices, and working throughout the SDLC.
