Job summary

Anson McCade are recruiting a Senior Software Engineer for a leading UK technology consultancy. The role involves working on core government delivery projects with ownership across the software lifecycle and a hybrid working model.

You will contribute across design, development and deployment using Java, TypeScript/JavaScript and React, while building CI/CD pipelines and collaborating with stakeholders. UK security clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Java
• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and React
• Cloud experience with AWS and/or Azure
• Familiar with modern CI/CD and software engineering practices

Responsibilities

• Join an Agile engineering team delivering bespoke software solutions
• Develop full-stack software using Java, TypeScript/JavaScript and React
• Design, develop and test high-quality software
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
• Work with AWS and Azure cloud environments
• Lead technically where appropriate and engage with stakeholders
