Job summary

Response Informatics Limited is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Developer in London. You will design, implement and maintain scalable software using Java, Spring Boot and microservices, applying AI-assisted development and Spec-Driven Development (SDD) to improve efficiency and quality.

You will contribute to CI/CD pipelines, ensure code quality, and collaborate with architects to deliver robust solutions across databases like CockroachDB and MongoDB.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and Spec-Driven Development (SDD).
• Strong understanding of software quality, clean code, testing, code reviews and maintainable architecture.
• Knowledge of FID setup and configuration.
• Experience with GKP instances and configuration.
• Experience with CockroachDB and MongoDB.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Apply AI-assisted development and Spec-Driven Development (SDD) to improve development efficiency and software quality.
• Establish and maintain high standards for clean code, code reviews, testing, maintainability and performance.
• Understand and support FID setup and configuration.
• Set up and maintain development and CI/CD pipelines using Jules.
• Configure and manage GKP instances.
• Set up, configure and integrate databases such as CockroachDB and MongoDB.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and improve application reliability, scalability and security.
• Collaborate with developers, architects and stakeholders to deliver robust software solutions.
• Follow engineering best practices and continuously improve development processes.
