Hunter Bond is seeking a Senior Java Developer for a hybrid Central London role with an initial 12-month contract. The position offers an outside IR35 setup and a day rate up to £700, starting in October.

You will develop and enhance server-side Java applications supporting settlement and post-trade processes within a fast-paced financial markets environment. Responsibilities include building robust services using Spring Boot, collaborating with engineers and stakeholders, and tackling complex

Qualifications

Experience in financial services, trading or complex transactional environments.
Hands-on development with Java/JVM and Spring/Spring Boot.
Settlement/post-trade domain knowledge preferred.
Experience with Kubernetes and event-driven architectures.
Ability to work with large, complex data sets.

Responsabilités

Develop and maintain Server Side Java/JVM applications for settlement workflows.
Build robust, scalable services using Spring and Spring Boot.
Collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders to gather requirements.
Contribute to design, development, testing and production delivery.
Work across greenfield and brownfield projects in a fast-moving environment.
