Job summary

Exalto Consulting, based in Liverpool, seeks a Senior Java Developer to join a collaborative engineering team. Hybrid role with one day in Liverpool.

The role focuses on building scalable web and mobile solutions, influencing architecture, mentoring peers, and delivering high quality software used by millions of customers. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, designing, building, and enhancing customer-facing applications and services in a cross-functional environment

Qualifications

Proficient in Java and React Native development.
Experience building and consuming APIs and backend services.
Strong understanding of SOLID principles and modern engineering practices.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Ability to mentor peers and influence technical direction.
Ability to contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain modern web and mobile applications using Java and React Native.
Contribute to architectural decisions and technical direction.
Develop high quality APIs and backend services.
Champion engineering best practices, clean code, and SOLID principles.
