Senior Java Developer - Remote - up to £95K

Halian is currently supporting a multi-national and award-winning organization that is looking for a talented and experienced Java Developer to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to create exceptional customer experiences and work on cutting-edge technology!

As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance core applications. You will oversee multiple teams, playing a pivotal role in shaping development strategies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Location: South East/Remote.

Salary: up to £95,000 + competitive benefits, depending on experience.

Requirements:

• Experience building and shipping large-scale applications
• Knowledge of Java AND/OR Kotlin
• A solid understanding of AWS OR GCP
• Experience with TDD and pair programming
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Experience leading engineering decisions in complex environments and influencing stakeholders
• Strong understanding of software architecture and architectural patterns, including microservices and event-driven architectures
• Experience with CI/CD in complex environments
• Proven track record of creating highly performant, scalable applications
• Leadership experience is required
