Job summary

E-Solutions is seeking a Java backend engineer to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust applications and microservices. You will build RESTful APIs with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot, integrate with databases, messaging, and third-party services, and ensure performance and reliability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions and stay current with Java trends and backend development practices.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in software development and enterprise application delivery.
• Hands-on Java with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate.
• Solid OOP, design patterns, data structures, software engineering.
• Proven RESTful API, microservices, scalable backend experience.
• Experience building highly available distributed backend systems.
• Relational DB knowledge: Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL—data modeling & query optimization.
• Familiar with Kafka, event-driven architectures, Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Experience with monitoring/logging/tracing tools such as Splunk.
• Strong concurrency, multithreading, and performance tuning.
• Banking/financial services domain experience preferred.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, data structures, and software engineering principles.
• Proven experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and scalable backend applications.
• Experience building and supporting highly available, distributed backend systems in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL, including data modeling and query optimization.
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka, event-driven architectures, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting tools such as Splunk and application tracing/observability tools.
• Strong understanding of concurrency, multithreading, and application performance tuning.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize application performance in production environments.
• Experience in the banking and financial services domain is preferred.
