You will join our Software Engineering Practice as a Principal Engineer, specialising in Java, leading technical teams and shaping cutting-edge

Qualifications

Proven experience in technical leadership.
Expertise in software architecture and design.
Strong project management skills.
Agile methodologies
Passion for innovation and problem-solving.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Substantial hands-on Java engineering experience.
Advocacy for Java coding principles and practices.
Ability to communicate design clearly, verbally and in writing.
Experience working with senior stakeholders and specialists.
Experience in Government/Public Sector is a plus.

Responsibilities

From requirements to design, coding, testing, deployment and maintenance across the lifecycle.
Liaise with management and stakeholders to understand client requirements and team objectives.
Work as a consultant with Solirius on a variety of projects and challenges.
Champion engineering best practices across teams and projects.
Identify and propose ideas for technical solutions.
Provide feedback to project teams on progress and outcomes.
Advise developers on technical decisions.
