Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong Java and Angular expertise to join a fully remote UK-based team. You will design and maintain scalable applications in a modern AWS cloud environment, taking ownership of technical directions and mentoring peers.

You will contribute to feature design, improve existing services, and solve complex engineering challenges, ensuring robustness and scalability while aligning with industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Java development and OO design.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and front-end development.
• Excellent Angular skills including component-based architecture and performance optimization.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Significant AWS experience including EC2, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
• Proven ability to deliver large-scale, resilient cloud applications.
• Strong software engineering principles and design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-scale applications in AWS cloud.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert requirements into scalable solutions.
• Lead technical discussions and guide architectural decisions.
• Ensure code quality via reviews and automated testing.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster continuous learning.
