Job summary

Methods is seeking a remote senior Full Stack Developer (UK-based with occasional travel to London). You will design, build, and validate cloud-native applications across the full stack, ensuring performance, security, and usability from the outset.

The role involves collaborating with architects, data engineers, and UX designers to deliver end-to-end solutions in discovery and alpha projects, with a strong emphasis on API design, microservices, and Azure services.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience with Java/Spring Boot and TypeScript/Angular in production or prototype environments.
• Working knowledge of Python for API or integration scripting.
• Strong understanding of Azure cloud services (App Services, AKS, storage).
• Experience developing and consuming APIs and data exchange between systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and Git workflows.
• Awareness of secure coding practices and identity management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test applications using Java/Spring Boot, Python, TypeScript, and Angular.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with back-end microservices.
• Develop prototype UIs with accessibility, usability, and responsive design.
• Discover applications on Microsoft Azure (App Services, AKS, Functions).
• Contribute to DevOps pipelines, version control, and automated testing.
• Collaborate with architects, data engineers, and UX designers for end-to-end delivery.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and technical documentation.
