Job summary

Matchtech is looking for a Systems Engineering / IV&V Lead to play a key role in delivering secure and high-integrity defence systems in the UK. This role includes driving verification and validation, developing test strategies, and mentoring engineering teams. Candidates should have a degree in Engineering or related fields, proven IV&V experience, and strong Systems Engineering knowledge. Qualifications

• Current or recent SC clearance, able to obtain/maintain DV.
• Willingness to travel within the UK as required.
• Proven experience delivering qualification and compliance test activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead assurance of Systems Engineering activities, including IV&V.
• Develop test strategies and assure engineering quality.
• Mentor engineering teams and influence best practices.

Skills

Strong Systems Engineering knowledge (INCOSE / ISO 15288)

Proven IV&V experience aligned to ISO 29119

Experience with safety and security for laboratory/test environments

Scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, JavaScript, Perl)

Education

Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics

Tools

Test automation frameworks
