Job summary

STR Group Limited is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer for a 2 year fixed-term contract in Southeast London. The role focuses on NPI, process development, industrialisation and continuous improvement, driving activities from product introduction through validation and production.

You will lead development and optimisation of manufacturing processes, production lines and workstations, while supporting validation and hands-on plant assembly operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in manufacturing process development, NPI and industrialisation.
• Experience setting up production lines, workstations and manufacturing processes.
• Strong RCA and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting CAPEX and equipment implementation.
• Hands-on approach to solving production and process issues.

Responsibilities

• Drive NPI and manufacturing readiness for new products and processes.
• Lead the development and optimisation of manufacturing processes, production lines and workstations.
• Support process validation, producing validation documentation and technical reports.
• Provide hands-on manufacturing support for plant assembly operations.
• Investigate production issues, including pressure test failures, using RCA and structured problem solving.
• Identify and implement improvements to quality, efficiency and process capability.
• Support and drive CAPEX projects, including equipment specification, acquisition and implementation.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to resolve issues and deliver successful NPI projects.

Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer NPI - 2 Yr FTC - up to £65,000 + Bonus + Ex.Benefits - SE London

We're looking for experienced Senior Manufacturing Process Engineers to support key manufacturing projects on 2 Year Fixed Term Contracts.

This is a hands-on role focused on NPI, process development, industrialisation and continuous improvement, with responsibility for driving manufacturing activities from product introduction through to validation and production.

The Role

• Drive NPI and manufacturing readiness for new products and processes.
• Lead the development and optimisation of manufacturing processes, production lines and workstations.
