Job description

Juice has a great opportunity for a Senior IT Support Technician to join a dynamic and growing technology company based in Bristol.

The company develops tailored software solutions for the health and social industry. Due to their continued success, they are looking for help within the Service Desk team to support the 1st line support team with hardware and software queries.

This role will require an individual who has the skills to provide IT support to clients with remote assistance for support tickets, including hardware and software queries.

This role is fully office-based.

This position could become a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

Duties include:
  1. Assisting clients with software queries that the first line support team are unable to resolve.
  2. Assisting clients remotely with hardware queries, including Printers, Scanners, Barcode Readers.
  3. Supporting internal teams with IT issues.
  4. Coaching and mentoring internal staff members.
  5. Forward planning for new hardware.
  6. Completing compatibility tests for new hardware.
Experience required:
  1. Previous experience in a 2nd line Helpdesk Support Role.
  2. Technical helpdesk knowledge and experience.
  3. Troubleshooting PC peripherals (Printers, Scanners, Barcode Readers).
  4. Ability to mentor and coach team members successfully.
Details:
  1. Monday to Friday hours.
  2. Temp to permanent opportunities available.
  3. Immediate availability preferred.
