La Fosse are partnered with a well known health services organisation who are looking for a Senior IT Support Technician. This full-time role offers a salary of £30,000 to £35,000, depending on experience.

Role Overview

As the Senior IT Support Technician, you’ll be the go-to expert for all IT software and hardware incidents and service requests. You’ll manage the IT support ticketing system, prioritise high-impact tasks, and communicate effectively with off site users.

Your deep technical knowledge of operating systems, software, and hardware setup will be crucial as you coordinate the allocation of new assets and solve problems creatively. You’ll seamlessly work between 1st and 2nd line support, ensuring smooth operations within our rapidly growing business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to end users.
  • Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
  • Manage user accounts and profiles across multiple platforms and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system and network issues.
  • Liaise with external service providers.
  • Support the roll out of new systems and updates.
  • Manage the Helpdesk ticketing system and maintain regular contact with users.

This is a permanent position based in Reading.
