Job summary

Ground Control is seeking a Senior Technical Support Analyst in Billericay, Essex to join our Service Desk and escalate complex issues while supporting Microsoft 365, Intune and Autopilot.

You will own incidents, mentor teammates, create documentation, and drive automation using PowerShell, with on-site rota-based support and travel to Ground Control sites as required.

Qualifications

• ITIL v4 Foundation (or above) is essential.
• Strong experience administering Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online and Entra ID.
• Experience with Intune and Windows Autopilot, device builds and provisioning.
• Proven escalation point within a Service Desk or IT Support environment.
• Mentoring, coaching and developing technical support teams.
• Experience creating support processes and knowledge base content.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, networking, and cloud platforms.
• PowerShell scripting and automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary escalation point for Technical Support Analysts.
• Manage and administer Microsoft 365 services and related apps.
• Own the management of Intune and Windows Autopilot.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across endpoints, networking and cloud services.
• Mentor Service Desk team members and share knowledge.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and processes.
• Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
• Support security and operational resilience activities.
• Participate in change management and CAB discussions.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
