About the Role

The Senior Supplier Relationship Manager is a key role within the Technology Supplier Management team, responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of multiple tier 1 strategic and critical third-party contracts. You will ensure these align with our Technology goals and objectives. Reporting to the Head of Contract and Supplier Management, you will develop and work within a team dedicated to excellence in contract, commercial, and relationship management.

In this role you will...

• Manage relationships and contracts with strategic and critical suppliers, following best practices and our Technology Supplier Management Policy
• Support and develop supplier management strategies in line with the RMG Technology sourcing strategy to deliver benefits and value
• Apply contractual and commercial management skills to ensure effective contracts that meet obligations, deliver value, and minimize risks
• Lead complex negotiations for multimillion-pound agreements
• Act as an escalation point for supplier issues and handle dispute resolution
• Produce executive-level supplier performance reports for decision-making
• Collaborate with senior leaders across Technology, Business, Finance, Legal, and Procurement to build and govern supplier relationships
• Take responsibility for suppliers within scope, acting as a subject matter expert and role model

Skills and Experience

• Experience managing the full contract lifecycle in Technology for large-scale (£10m+) and complex strategic supplier relationships
• Proven experience managing tier 1/critical suppliers in complex environments
• Deep knowledge of contracts in categories such as Application Development, Cloud, Network, Telecoms, Workplace, End User Compute, IT Service Desk, or Software Development
• Ability to understand and enforce contractual obligations while maintaining strong supplier relationships
• Track record of delivering tangible commercial benefits during the contract lifecycle
• Experience developing and managing multiple strategic and critical supplier contracts
