Main duties of the jobThe Senior IT Server Engineer supports the IT Infrastructure Operations Manager who is responsible for the administration and optimisation of the organisation's IT data centre, network, client devices and associated components to achieve high performance and availability of a range of business applications. The Senior IT Server Engineers are responsible for ensuring the availability of selected client/server applications, networks, firewalls, and client devices, configuring all new implementations and developing processes and procedures for the ongoing management of the technology estate.
The IT team currently operates core-hours between 8.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, and the successful candidate will have a flexible attitude to be able to adjust to the operational needs of the department as and when required.
