Job Description:

Our valued Public sector clients are seeking a Senior IT Security Methodology, Policy and Procedure Analyst to ensure that new and legacy applications are compliant with current security standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with employees to develop a corporate security policy instrument framework and associated security policy instruments (SPIs) to reflect the new risk landscape.
  • Review tools and systems to determine how best to rollout/communicate and host policy instruments for access by employees.
  • Explore ways and innovative solutions to make policy documents accessible and understandable to a diverse workforce.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on how to align security policy instruments to Government of Canada requirements.
  • Liaise with a variety of stakeholders to gather feedback and understand their requirements, constraints, and concerns as it relates to corporate security policy instruments.
  • Facilitate working sessions with different stakeholders to achieve consensus on policy statements.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 8+ years’ experience working in information security (corporate, IT, cyber, etc..)
  • 8+ years’ experience developing and implementing security policy and policy instruments
