Job summary
The IT Programme and Projects Team within University Hospitals Sussex is recruiting a Senior Project Manager for an immediate start to join our team of project managers, IT business partners, and digital nurses. Our large Trust is delivering major clinical transformation programmes for the benefit of clinicians and patients. This role offers opportunities to develop skills and knowledge for a passionate individual interested in driving change in healthcare.
Reporting to the Head of Programmes and Projects, the Senior Project Manager will be a key member of the team, leading and managing projects within the digital programme portfolio, from inception to closure, including complex and sensitive deliverables. The role involves matrix management of project teams responsible for defining and delivering digital projects.

The post holder will oversee programme and project management, including scoping, planning, design, and delivery within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters.
The ideal candidate will have experience in digital health, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects in technical and change management areas. They should be capable of managing multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously, engaging and communicating effectively at all levels, and understanding complex clinical concepts including patient safety and risk management.
