We're looking for an IT Project Engineer to help drive technical excellence across multiple concurrent projects, with a particular focus on Microsoft Intune and device management.

The details...

In this role, you'll work closely with the team manager and stakeholders to support end-users, manage escalations, and lead project-based tasks aligned with the IT roadmap. You'll balance BAU responsibilities with hands-on involvement in the planning and execution of technical workstreams across regional and global projects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical solutions across multiple IT projects, with a focus on device deployment and endpoint management via Intune.
  • Own escalated issues from the service desk and see them through to resolution.
  • Implement and support system upgrades, SaaS migrations and software rollouts as part of broader project initiatives.
  • Conduct root cause analysis, documenting and sharing findings to support team learning and service improvement.
  • Work alongside project managers to ensure delivery milestones are met and stakeholders are kept informed.
  • Maintain up-to-date expertise in core technologies through self-driven learning and collaboration.

What we're looking for...

  • Proven experience delivering multiple IT projects in a hands-on capacity, particularly involving Microsoft Intune, device management, and software deployment at scale.
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Scripting capability with PowerShell to support automation and repeatable tasks.
  • Experience managing identity and authentication platforms.
  • Skilled in systems analysis and diagnosing complex desktop and infrastructure issues.
  • Experience administering Office 365 in a cloud-native environment.
  • Solid understanding of network protocols including DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A proactive, organised, and self-motivated approach to balancing support and project delivery.

Desirable:

  • Office 365 certification.
  • Experience supporting cloud-hosted SaaS platforms in a project context.
  • Experience supporting Linux
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices (ITIL Foundation desirable).
  • Familiarity with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow.
  • Server administration experience including Azure AD, DNS, DHCP, Certificate Authority, and Radius.
  • Previous experience mentoring junior team members or acting as a technical lead on project tasks.

This role will suit a motivated self-starter who is eager to learn and share knowledge and who wants to work in a fast paced high-tech organisation where there is an opportunity to support a global business.
