Job summary

La Fosse Associates in London is seeking an IT Portfolio Delivery Manager to lead the Core IT portfolio and raise delivery maturity. This permanent role sits between Head of IT Delivery and delivery teams, across multiple operating companies, covering OT, infrastructure, platforms and new digital capabilities.

You will lead PMs and BAs, shape demand, improve forward pipeline, strengthen governance, and build stronger relationships with stakeholders.

• Led complex portfolios of technology change.
• Strong people leadership with delivery teams.
• Experience in demand management, portfolio planning and prioritisation.
• Governance, risk, dependencies and delivery assurance capability.
• Managed resources and capacity across multiple projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and constructive challenge.
• Experience across infrastructure, platforms, enterprise systems.
• Hands-on with mature delivery practices and pragmatic adoption.
• Commercial awareness including budgets, suppliers and third-party delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead a broad portfolio of Core IT projects and programmes.
• Coach and develop a team of PMs and BAs.
• Improve demand capture, shaping, prioritisation and delivery.
• Build a clearer forward pipeline of initiatives.
• Strengthen portfolio planning and capacity management.
• Improve delivery standards, governance and ways of working.
• Own portfolio risks, issues, dependencies and escalations.
• Build relationships across the business and anticipate needs.
• Collaborate with PMO, Architecture, Product and Security.
• Raise delivery consistency while keeping delivery outcomes.
• Shape and embed a mature delivery capability while delivering.
