Your day at NTT DATA

The Senior IT Data Centre Operations Technician provides customer service, troubleshooting, and incident escalation for all users contacting the 24x7x365 NOC environment. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Data Center Operation in Cloud and Security services, the role supports engineers, project managers, and customers with physical interventions in UK Data Centres.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as an escalation point for investigation and troubleshooting of system and network issues.
• Elevate complex or high-priority incidents for timely resolution.
• Record customer and problem information, updating records with activities.
• Verify solutions' effectiveness through follow-up.
• Document steps taken to resolve incidents.
• Develop and document support procedures.
• Act as a point of contact for client and management escalations.
• Coordinate communication during critical incidents.
• Own mini projects and ensure timely completion.
• Assist with hardware builds and decomms, tracking spares.
• Participate in training and mentoring of Service Desk Technicians.
