Job summary

London Gatwick Airport is seeking a Senior Procurement Category Manager – IT & Cyber to shape technology procurement and develop strategies that drive value and supplier performance. You will partner with Technology, Cyber and Digital teams to support Gatwick's technology roadmap as a trusted commercial advisor.

This office-first hybrid role expects three days in the office and two days remote, with responsibility for end-to-end sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier relationships to

Qualifications

• Degree-level education in Business, IT, or Supply Chain (or equivalent).
• CIPS qualified or working towards.
• Experience in IT and/or Cyber procurement in large or complex organisations.
• Understanding of SaaS, cloud, managed services, licensing, and cyber solutions.
• Proven track record delivering complex technology procurements and leading negotiations.
• Experience managing supplier performance, contracts, and service delivery.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience driving change within complex or decentralised organisations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own IT & Cyber category strategies aligned to Gatwick's objectives.
• Lead end-to-end procurement activities across IT and Cyber categories.
• Provide expert commercial support to Technology, Cyber, Digital and stakeholders.
• Manage full lifecycle of technology procurement including market engagement and mobilisation.
• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts with risk and compliance in mind.
• Lead supplier relationship management, driving performance and innovation.
• Ensure procurement activity adheres to governance and financial controls.
• Proactively manage cyber, IT and supply-chain risk across categories.
