Job Description:

One of the UK’s best loved hospitality and entertainment providers requires a Senior IT Business Analyst to pay a key role in a companywide IT Transformation.

Reporting to the Head of Business Analysis in there global HQ, you will support the business and technology projects by assisting in the analysis, documentation and communication of requirements for projects across the group portfolio.

Key Accountabilities

Business Analysis

  • Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements through stakeholder meetings and workshops
  • Support the analysis of processes and systems to identify areas for improvement
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, including requirement documents, user stories, process maps and test cases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly
  • Help validate solutions against business requirements through testing and feedback sessions
  • Provide administrative support for project activities, including meeting coordination, facilitation and status reporting
  • Work closely with the senior business analyst and other team members to develop skills and knowledge
  • Support the senior business analyst in implementing good business analysis practice across the group
  • Help establish and refine delivery frameworks, incorporating emergent business analysis processes, tools and techniques
  • Works to build a high level of collaboration across the IT delivery capability working with the IT deliver PMO lead and project management functions to foster a culture of continuous improvement

Technical Knowledge & Experience

  • Experience in a business analysis or similar role preferably within the retail, leisure or hospitality industry
  • Knowledge of business analysis and requirement gathering techniques
  • Understanding of Waterfall and Agile project methodologies and a desire to learn more
  • Experience of working independently and handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to facilitate and control workshops and requirement gathering workshops
  • A second language (German or Italian) is highly desirable
