Team and Role

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst for Markets Risk and Controls Technology. The role involves delivering complex projects, developing applications focused on controls and alerts within the Markets Business Controls Technology group, especially related to Compliance Risk Programs. The candidate will collaborate with business and technology teams globally and apply a deep understanding of the business impact of technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements, produce functional specifications.
• Develop expertise in key applications within Markets Risk and Controls.
• Ensure adherence to project management standards and best practices.
• Provide solutions that meet business needs efficiently.
• Support the development lifecycle, including artefacts for audits and inquiries.
• Assist during go-live and investigate issues post-implementation.
• Collaborate with global teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Propose innovative solutions to existing issues.

Responsibilities

• Define system scope and objectives for complex projects.
• Consult with users to resolve system issues and recommend solutions.
• Support system changes from requirements gathering to implementation.
• Determine functional specifications and provide operational support.
• Communicate risks and impacts considering business implications.
• Mentor junior analysts and work collaboratively to meet objectives.
• Operate with minimal supervision, exercise judgment, and act as SME to stakeholders.
• Assess risks and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in data analysis and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal, management, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and build relationships.
• Self-motivated, able to work under pressure, detail-oriented.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and familiarity with agile methodologies.
