Job summary

Aberdeen is seeking an IT Senior Audit Manager to lead complex technology audits and risk assessments, and to shape the technology assurance strategy across the organisation. You will partner with senior stakeholders to deliver high-impact assurance and drive sustainable risk reduction.

You will coach audit professionals, manage integrated engagements and act as deputy to the Head of Audit IT when required, gaining significant exposure to senior executives and strategic programmes.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional qualifications such as CISA, CISM or CRISC.
• Significant internal audit, risk or assurance experience within financial services.
• Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex technology audits and assurance workstreams across the group.
• Oversee technology risk assessment, audit planning and issue validation.
• Build trusted relationships with C-suite and senior stakeholders and provide risk insights.
• Coach and develop audit professionals and allocate resources effectively.
• Act as deputy to Head of Audit IT and represent Internal Audit at governance forums.
