Job summary

M&G is seeking an experienced IT Audit Assignment team member within Internal Audit in the UK. You will lead technology audits across IT risk, third‑party risk, and governance, engaging with key stakeholders to drive meaningful risk improvements.

The role offers exposure to senior management, data analytics, and AI-enabled auditing tools, with a collaborative culture and flexible working arrangements across the asset management group.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Technology Audits within Financial Services.
• Experience auditing Third-Party Risk Management or supplier risk frameworks.
• Strong understanding of technology security controls and governance practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot to improve audit quality.

Responsibilities

• Planning & Risk Assessment: plan scoping of technology audit assignments and identify key risks and controls.
• Audit Performance: design and perform risk-based testing across technology and operational processes.
• Audit Reporting: draft high-quality audit observations and reports for stakeholders.
• Business Partnering: engage with Technology, Information Security, Procurement and suppliers.
• Team Management: coach and mentor junior auditors and share knowledge.
• Audit Community: contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the function.
