Job summary

HM Revenue and Customs is recruiting IT Auditors to join the Internal Audit team, driving excellence across governance, risk management and controls. You will lead IT audit assignments, assess IT risks, engage with partners, and mentor trainees, while benefiting from flexible working and a generous learning and development programme.

The role offers a minimum salary of £45,544 with a £6,000 annual allowance, plus hybrid work options and progression within a major digital Transformation program.

Qualifications

• Qualified IT Auditor with IT audit credentials (e.g., CISA/CRISC)
• Post-qualification experience in IT internal audits
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Lead IT audit assignments from planning through reporting
• Identify and assess IT risk and controls in complex environments
• Engage with audit partners and key stakeholders
• Mentor junior auditors and support CPD/learning
• Support development of internal audit plans and processes
