Job summary

Context Recruitment in Central London is seeking an IT Applications Manager to lead delivery, governance and optimisation of enterprise applications during a major digital transformation. This role reports into the Head of IT and blends strategic oversight with hands-on leadership of a multidisciplinary team.

You will oversee a suite of core systems and manage both internal resources and external managed services, driving standardisation, data integrity and security across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience leading IT application portfolios and digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong governance, security and compliance practices.
• Ability to drive cross-functional change and stakeholder alignment.
• ITIL certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of low-code/no-code applications from requirements through deployment, governance and support.
• Collaborate with business units to identify automation opportunities, improving efficiency and data accuracy.
• Oversee a small internal team and two external managed services.
• Drive standardisation across business units to simplify the portfolio and improve scalability.
• Govern and optimise the SharePoint environment and core systems.
• Support M&A activities by migrating and integrating applications and data.
• Establish governance frameworks and best practices for development and management.
• Ensure security, scalability and enterprise alignment across digital workflows.
