Job summary

The Opportunity

• Scope and plan technology-focused audits, pinpointing key risks and controls across systems, suppliers and operations.
• Carry out risk-based testing, evaluating how well controls hold up across technology, outsourced services and third-party relationships.
• Apply analytics, automation and AI-driven tools, such as Copilot, to sharpen planning, testing and overall delivery.
• Produce robust audit documentation and deliver work on time, on budget and to the required standard.
• Communicate outcomes clearly, writing strong reports and working with management to land agreed remediation actions.
• Develop and sustain relationships across Technology, Information Security, Procurement and other business areas to keep pace with emerging risks.
• Guide and review junior auditors' work, helping build team skills and a collaborative culture.

Your profile

• Track record of supporting the delivery of IT and third-party audits within a financial services environment.
• Good understanding of third-party and outsourcing risk, including supplier risk frameworks and vendor oversight arrangements.
• Solid grasp of technology security controls and IT governance practices.
• Strong interpersonal, stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capability.
• Proven collaborator within a high-performing, fast-paced team.
• Comfortable using, or keen to adopt, AI-assisted tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot) to boost audit efficiency and quality.
• Ideally a relevant certification, CISA, CISM, CRISC or similar.
