Overview:
Sentara Health is looking for an IT professional to join our team as a Senior IT Analyst!
Responsibilities:
- Managing projects and processes, working independently with limited supervision.
- Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals.
- Handling difficult and complex problems.
Education:
- Experience in lieu of Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of relevant experience with a degree
- 7+ years of relevant experience without a degree
Certification/Licensure:
No specific certification or licensure requirements.
Experience:
- Advanced SQL skills using tools such as SQL Server Management Studio (5+ years)
- Requirements gathering, including creating technical specifications
- Experience working with large datasets, preferably loading big data into a database
- JIRA experience (2+ years)
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to multitask and handle many requests simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills
