Job summary

SGS is seeking a Lead Auditor to plan and conduct professional management system audits in line with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 to support certification services. The role involves on-site and client-site audits, field-based coverage in the UK, reporting, maintaining high service standards, and continuing professional development as you build expertise across industries.

Travel is required with a company car provided, and you’ll help ensure client satisfaction while developing auditing skills.

Qualifications

• Lead Auditor in ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001
• NEBOSH General certificate or Level 6 Diploma
• Experience with Quality, Health & Safety and/or Environmental management systems
• Strong knowledge of management system standards, compliance and auditing techniques
• Varied breadth of industry sector experience
• Valid UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct audits (desk-based or on client site) to enable certification services
• Provide accurate and timely reporting to assist planning and operations
• Enhance client satisfaction and ensure compliance with standards
• Undertake personal professional development and maintain auditor registrations and industry knowledge
