In this role, you'll design and develop IS architecture solutions to meet business challenges, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards. You'll be involved in technical planning, architecture development, and modifying specifications to meet evolving needs. Your expertise will help develop new products, services, and applications, ensuring compatibility and integration across technologies.

Design and develop integrated IS architecture solutions. Perform technical planning and architecture development. Modify specifications for new requirements. Develop specifications for products, services, and applications. Assess compatibility and integration of proposed standards to ensure a cohesive architecture.

Location: UK, Windsor (talk to us about flexible working)

The day to day:

• Define, enhance, and implement Centrica’s information security architecture.
• Ensure consistent administration of security policies, standards, procedures, and controls.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects on design documentation.
• Review design documentation and provide input.
• Leverage industry expertise to improve security architectures and integrate them into projects and infrastructure.
• Identify risks and opportunities, guide teams to mitigate risks, and establish security governance.
• Engage technical and business teams on security landscape and secure software development lifecycle.
• Provide guidance to application and business teams.

About You

• Ability to design secure systems aligning with business goals and regulations (CISSP, TOGAF).
• Skilled in identifying and mitigating security risks.
• Proficient in handling security incidents and forensic analysis.
• Familiar with compliance auditing and policy development.
• Understanding of encryption and key management.
• Experienced in network architecture and firewall configuration.
• Knowledgeable in cloud security (CCSP, AWS Certified Security – Specialty).
• Capable of leading and mentoring a team.
• Excellent at conveying complex security concepts.
