We are currently seeking a Senior IP Buyer, reporting directly to the Procurement Manager, to join our Procurement team based in London, England, UK.

About the mission we offer you:

The Senior IP Buyer will be responsible for buying, negotiating, and following purchasing categories (goods/services) to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery in accordance with departmental needs.

Main Accountabilities:
  1. Participates in defining procurement strategies and activities to mitigate risk with the indirect procurement manager.
  2. Fulfills inquiries and purchasing activities within time and budget.
  3. Assembles all information necessary for issuing an inquiry.
  4. Expedites bids and conducts negotiations with vendors.
About you:

We would love to hear how you match this position. The following requirements are essential:

  • A degree qualification and solid experience in buying/procurement.
  • Experience in Indirect Purchasing, including hiring agency contractors, building facilities, and IT equipment procurement, handling a spend of over 20M€ with more than 100 personnel annually.
  • Knowledge of procurement rules and principles.
  • Understanding of procurement models and tools.
  • Knowledge of key suppliers and market conditions.
  • Familiarity with commercial terms and conditions.
  • Understanding of local regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
