Talent in Manchester is seeking a Senior Mobile Developer to design, build and own iOS apps that interact with IoT devices and a backend platform. You’ll ship features from concept to App Store release in a tight, agile team of designers and engineers.

You’ll drive testing, CI/CD, and automation while mentoring others. The role is hybrid, with two days per week in Manchester city centre, and involves working on mission-critical products protecting medicines and freight in transit.

Qualifications

• Several years shipping Swift apps commercially, with live apps you can show us.
• Experience wiring apps into APIs and backend services.
• Testing as a habit, with unit and UI tests.
• Excellent debugging to find root causes, not just patch symptoms.
• Bonus if you’ve worked with Flutter, build/release automation in GitHub, app security, data protection, or analytics and performance monitoring.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain iOS applications in Swift that connect to IoT devices and backend APIs.
• Write clean, well-tested code and take features from requirements through to App Store release.
• Work closely with designers, product owners, fellow developers and customers in a small, multidisciplinary agile team.
• Lead the mobile portion, shaping automated testing, CI/CD and release processes.
