Job summary

Burns Sheehan is partnering with a scaling FinTech to hire a Senior iOS Engineer to help scale greenfield features and enhance their consumer app used by millions of users in the UK. The role is Manchester-based with two onsite days per week.

You will lead mobile feature delivery, collaborate with product and design, and write clean Swift code with SwiftUI and UIKit, while promoting testing, CI, and performance and security considerations.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Swift, SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with version control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the delivery of mobile features and contribute to technical direction.
• Collaborate with Product & Design to deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Develop and build clean, maintainable code using Swift, SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Promote and support engineering best practices such as automated testing, continuous integration and collaborative development.
• Ensure performance, security and scalability considerations are embedded within projects.

As a collaborative team, they are looking for a Senior iOS Engineer who enjoys working across different projects, helping to scale greenfield products and continue to build new features for their existing app which is continuing to grow in momentum.

You’ll be joining their mobile engineering team to help support and enhance a suite of consumer facing applications whilst working on a cross-functional team. The teams embrace modern tooling, and you’ll have the autonomy within the role to help shape the future of their apps.
