Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Senior Security Engineer for Identity Services in London. You will secure the bank's digital identity platform, balancing security-first design with delivery needs, and collaborating with engineering, product, and compliance teams.

You will lead identity protection across systems, apply AI-assisted tooling where appropriate, and drive adoption of cryptographic best practices across the identity services capability.

Qualifications

• Experience in IAM security with authentication/authorisation concepts.
• Proficiency in OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML and related standards.
• Ability to model threats and review security architectures for IAM APIs.
• Practical knowledge of cloud security (AWS) and key management.
• Secure coding practices and security testing within CI/CD.
