Job Description:

Role: Senior iOS Engineer

Location: Fully remote - UK or Europe!

A high-growth, award-winning SaaS EdTech start-up is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join the team. If you're the kind of developer who wants real product ownership, a tight-knit team, and the chance to shape the direction of an entire app, this one's for you.

But first, the good stuff:

  • Unlimited holiday – most of the team takes 32–35 days, plus office closes for around 2 weeks over Christmas
  • Remote-friendly – very flexible on hours and location
  • MacBook and AirPods – top-tier kit to work confidently from home
  • Private healthcare – available to all UK-based staff
  • Collaborative culture – founder, engineers, and designers work side by side
  • Equity & recognition – share scheme available, results are rewarded

They’re a market leader with 21M+ annual page views, a #1-rated app across app stores, and 1 in 4 UK students using their platform to apply to university. They aim to double this growth, and your work will directly influence that.

What will you do?

This is a hands-on iOS role with a fast-growing product and an experienced team. You’ll implement designs supporting a seamless university search, collaborate with back-end and design teams, and take ownership of the app's future.

You’ll write clean, scalable Swift/SwiftUI code, shape architecture, and lay foundations for a growing mobile function. Ideal if you're ready for a lead-track role without corporate layers.

What they’re looking for:

  • 3+ years’ commercial iOS experience (Swift/SwiftUI)
  • Experience building scalable apps with good performance and UX
  • Strong understanding of OOP, functional programming, and modern design patterns
  • Confidence working with REST APIs and GraphQL
  • Proactive mindset and ability to work independently
  • Care about product quality, not just features

This is a great opportunity to join a product-led, fast-moving team where your input shapes the roadmap and mobile development.
