Job summary

Archer Aviation is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to own the iOS app of a mature consumer product. You will join a small, expert team and shape an end-to-end mobile experience that blends AI and aviation expertise with a seamless user interface.

You will develop for iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS, integrate REST APIs, and guide the full app lifecycle from builds to App Store submissions while upholding quality and performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial iOS development experience.
• Experience with Swift and Objective-C.
• Strong knowledge of SwiftUI, UIKit and Apple frameworks (MapKit or similar).
• Experience integrating REST APIs and backend understanding for API design.
• Strong understanding of iOS build systems, provisioning, certificates, and App Store requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, high-performance features for iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS.
• Collaborate with designers to build intuitive UI/UX following platform best practices.
• Refactor and modularize code to improve quality and reusability.
• Integrate REST APIs with efficient data handling and error management.
• Manage the full app lifecycle, including builds and App Store submissions.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold architectural and testing best practices.
• Collaborate with Backend teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure end-to-end integration.
