Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a high-performing iOS engineer on the EGDS team to apply iOS expertise to create UI patterns and experiences for travelers and suppliers. The role emphasizes AI-first problem solving using Claude Code to accelerate delivery and elevate AI-assisted development across the team.

You will mentor junior engineers, lead complex multi-module iOS projects, and collaborate with UX designers, engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality, accessible software across

Qualifications

• 5+ years with a Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years with a Master's degree
• Proficiency with Swift, SwiftUI, and Xcode
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code)
• Experience maintaining/ran multiple projects in production environments
• Experience writing unit tests and debugging with monitoring tools
• Proficiency with version control (Git) and API/schema design

Responsibilities

• Lead high-quality iOS UI patterns and experiences for travelers and suppliers across Expedia Group.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead complex, well-defined projects.
• Collaborate with UX designers, engineers and product managers to improve user experiences.
• Adopt AI-first problem solving and share best practices for AI tooling across the team.
• Ensure accessibility, performance budgets, and robust testing across modules.
