Job summary

Zego is seeking an experienced Senior iOS Engineer to shape the architecture of our iOS platform, delivering a market-leading consumer app and scalable SDKs. You will lead architectural decisions, collaborate with product and other engineers, and apply AI-first thinking to daily work.

You will own secure, high-performance iOS development at scale, with cross-team influence and a focus on delivering tangible customer value in a fast-moving AI-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building iOS apps with shipped products.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Experience crafting scalable, usable SDKs for third parties.
• Build secure, high-performance iOS apps at scale.

• Raise the quality bar through code reviews, design docs and tech talks, so knowledge spreads rather than sitting with one person.
• Partner with Product Managers to launch features that customers actually use.

What you will be doing

What you will need to be successful

• Deep iOS experience - Around 6+ years building iOS applications, and you can point to what you shipped and why it mattered
• Architectural judgement - A solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns and the trade-offs behind them
• SDK craft - You have built SDKs that are scalable, performant and genuinely usable by third-party developers
• Secure, high-performance engineering - You build iOS applications that hold up under real scale, security and performance pressure
• Clear communication - You collaborate well with Product and other engineers and explain technical decisions in a way people can act on
• You work AI-first - You will use AI daily here, and we mean daily. You do not need to arrive an expert, but you do need to arrive curious, experiment fast, and take ownership of getting good quickly. People who wait to be trained will find this uncomfortable
