Job summary

Wellington Management is seeking a senior Risk Strategist to join the Risk Strategy team within Investment Risk in London. You will translate complex analytics into clear, actionable insights to shape portfolio decisions and strengthen investment talent.

You will collaborate with investors, design risk analyses, and help maintain robust risk reporting, dashboards, and processes while mentoring colleagues and promoting disciplined risk-taking.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in portfolio analysis, risk management, or quantitative analytics.
• Proven ability to partner with investors and senior stakeholders.
• Strong fixed income knowledge across rates, credit, derivatives.
• Deep understanding of portfolio construction and risk analytics.
• Advanced degree and CFA/CAIA/FRM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply quantitative analysis and stress testing to align risk with conviction.
• Identify changes in portfolio risk and communicate them.
• Design risk analyses and translate data into clear insights.
• Ensure risk reporting and dashboards are robust and useful.
• Collaborate with investors to integrate analytics into coaching.

• Mentor colleagues and promote disciplined risk-taking.
