Position: Senior Investment Fund Analyst

Location: 22 Bishopsgate, London – Hybrid

Type: Permanent

Role Overview

The Senior Investment Fund Analyst reports to the Investment Oversight Lead and is part of AXA IM Select. They are responsible for funds endorsed by their Asset Class Pod, leading tactical asset allocation and portfolio construction recommendations, and managing workflow within their asset class pod. They work closely with other analysts and investment managers to ensure alignment across portfolios and conduct due diligence on funds and sectors, adhering to internal guidelines. The role requires working under tight deadlines, presenting findings internally and externally, and providing updates at committee meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, monitor, and oversee external investment managers and their offerings, including CIS, non-CIS, segregated mandates, and structured products.
• Support asset allocation decisions within assigned sectors.
• Assist in client relationship management as needed.
• Contribute to developing new investment strategies and propositions to maintain market leadership.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to support competency assessments.

Candidate Profile

• Experience with Fund of Fund strategies or similar structures.
• Mid-senior level experience in Fixed Income strategies.
• CFA Charter holder or working towards it.
• Graduate or professional qualification in finance.
• Knowledge of systems, manager research, investment markets, and techniques.
• Effective communicator and presenter.
