City St George’s, University of London seeks a Senior Internal Auditor to execute risk-based audits and challenge the governance framework. You will work within the University Secretary’s Office, reporting to the Audit and Risk Committee with independence and impact.

Ideal candidates will be CIIA qualified (ACCA considered with recent internal audit experience), possess strong report writing skills, and lead audits while engaging diverse stakeholders across the university.

Formación

• CIIA qualified (other qualifications considered if combined with significant internal audit experience).
• Experience in risk-based internal audits and assurance work.
• Strong report writing and concise communication skills.
• Ability to lead multiple complex audits and manage stakeholders.
• Commitment to governance, integrity and continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and conduct audits according to the IA Manual and risk-based plan.
• Manage several large assignments simultaneously, independently or with colleagues.
• Produce concise audit reports with contextual conclusions.
• Develop pragmatic recommendations to improve risk management.
• Demonstrate governance advocacy and proactive, resilient, self-starting attitude.
