Wood is excited to offer a permanent Senior Internal Auditor role within our Internal Audit team. This is a chance to contribute to independent assurance across governance, risk management and internal controls.

The role is ideally based at one of our UK hub offices in Aberdeen, Reading, Glasgow or Stockton, with remote working considered for the right candidate. The Senior Internal Auditor will plan, execute and report on audits, travel to project sites, and work closely with stakeholders to

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, risk-informed audits providing independent assurance over governance, risk management and internal control frameworks.
• Plan, coordinate and execute audits across diverse business areas, engaging with stakeholders to assess processes and controls.
• Support delivery of the audit plan and clearly communicate findings, ensuring actions are implemented and sustained.
• Focus on audits relating to Project Execution and Technical Operations, with periodic travel to project and operational locations.
